After a successful outcome at the South Region Championships last weekend, the Clark Penguins track & field teams are feeling good heading into the NWAC Championships.  Both men and women finished 3^rd overall in the South.  However, there were a number of personal bests recorded, two 1^st place finishes, and the head Coach Bob Williams was honored with the Women's South Coach of the Year award.

Sadie Dalgleish – 1^st in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase
Isaac Stinchfield – 1^st in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase
Alanni Wingert – 2^nd in the 800 Meter Run
Dan Nehnevaj – 2^nd in the 5000 Meter Run
Guadalupe Mendoza – 2^nd in the Discus
Jazzmine Rowland – 2^nd in the 400 Meter Dash
Tayler Troupe – 2^nd in the Long Jump
Thomas Normandeau – 2^nd in the 1500 Meter Run
Sam Garvin – 3^rd in the 1500 Meter Run and 3^rd in the 5000 Meter Run
Tresa Marsh – 3^rd in the 5000 Meter Run
Olivia Rose – 3^rd in the Triple Jump
Breanna Munson – 3^rd in the High Jump
Te'kwon Wallace – 3^rd in the 400 Meter Hurdles
Tupre Wickliff – 3^rd in the High Jump
Quentin Sills – 3^rd in the Javelin Throw

The Penguins look to end their 2016 campaign in Gresham, OR at the 2016 NWAC Track & Field Championships, hosted by Mt. Hood Community College.
